| i have checked my notes for non herbal bordeaux varietals. Inniskillin had a couple very good ones Lailey - '02 cab/merlot ridgepoint - '02 merlot fielding - '02 cab/merlot res. tawse - '02 cab franc peninsula ridge - '02 merlot hope you have a great time - i may show up in the area around the 7th; but not certain yet. will be at chatauqua for the weekend. some of the wineries you have been directed to you will be disappointed in - angels gate and de sousa for example; and there is almost nothing drinkable at crown bench. but don't miss flat rock - esp nadines riesling. and don't miss fielding and tawse. daniel lenko is another must do; but he may be out of wine already - cult following. anyway, have fun. david | |||

| I'd have to respectively disagree with your comment on Angels Gate. Their wines are generally highly thought of - I especially enjoy their Rieslings (a dry and an off-dry) and their Pinot. However, since it's located at the east end of Niagara, and assuming that the 'tour' will be in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area, it's not likely that they'll get a chance to go there anyway.... | |||

| On the 6th we are going over to Canada to visit some wineries, do you think you would have the time to break away from Chautauqua for a bit? Even if you do not join us for the entire time, I can let you know the times of our appointments when confirmed and you can meet up with us. Ed | |||
