"Neutral" is a good description of what I don't care for in many Seyval Blancs. Surprisingly, some very neutral Seyval Blancs enhance the taste of other wines when used as minority partner in a blend. A friend blends it with Cayuga with the result of a much crisper and more fruity wine.
