Hope you find this forum to be as informative and hospitable as I have.

Some of my favorite reds in the below $10 range are Dominio de Eguren "Protocolo", a Spanish Tempranillo that can be bought for $6 or less; Osborne "Solaz", a Spanish blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon can be bought at less than $9; and Santa Ema Carmenere Cachapoal Valley, a Chilean wine with a note of spiciness to it, at $9 or less. There are also a lot of tasty Argentinian Malbecs at less than $10.

I don't drink a lot of whites but one recent inexpensive one was Barnwood Sauvignon Blanc from Santa Barbera County. That should be available at $10 or less.
