I had been preaching constantly about the need to consider another iteration of labrusca wine besides the gawd-awful (to my and many geeks' palates) syrupy-cloying style, and here you were, a man who has been making exactly the kind of labrusca wine that I was always talking about! Ergo, my considerable happiness at meeting you and trying your wines. Same thing vis-a-vis Jeff Murphy and his Dry Concord - truly a wine that I'm excited to try and report on.
