Doing lip service while chowing down like an accomplished trencherman (trencherwoman?).

I once went on a date with such a woman. Got the "Oh I'm not hungry so I'll just have a piece of toast" routine. Then asked to taste my meal. I sat there and watched her pretty much consume the whole thing, and when 'we' were finished, because she hadn't ordered a main course, she felt justified in having dessert.......

(I am not referring to SWMBO, BTW, so I am not inadvertently offering you any ammunition to be used against me...)
